Katie Daryl started her broadcasting career as a part time radio DJ at the age of 15.
While attending Arizona State University she moved her way up the radio chain and worked
as a morning show radio producer for KISS FM in Phoenix. When Katie Daryl realized that morning
radio meant waking up at 4 am, Katie Daryl moved to NYC to host the political MTV show Choose or Lose.
Once she finished covering the presidential race of 2000 for the disinterested youth of America,
Katie Daryl turned to FM shock jock radio in Dallas, TX. Soon there after, Katie Daryl found
herself sitting next to Mark Cuban as the co-host of The Mark Cuban Show for two seasons on
UPN/CBS/HDNet. During that time Katie Daryl realized she not only enjoyed male locker rooms,
but she also had a love for sex, drugs and rock and roll (not really mom!). So with that,
Katie Daryl joined the HDNet team as host and producer of True Music in 2002. Katie Daryl
also works for VH1 as a music expert on a variety of their count-down themed shows.
