Kandace Krueger

Kandace

Kandace Krueger has made a few exciting stops on the road of life before joining HDNet in July of 2003.

After winning the titles of Miss Austin USA and Miss Texas USA in 2001, she found herself competing against fifty other state representatives for the Miss USA title.

It was winning that national crown that actually piqued her interest in broadcasting.

After making hundreds of television and radio appearances throughout her reign, she knew that in front of the camera was the place she wanted to be.

Growing up a tomboy and watching football alongside her father, Kandace developed a strong knowledge and love for sports, so it was only natural that sports broadcasting was her first career choice.

She's worked as a field reporter for TNN's Professional Bull Riders, the Lone Star Series' College Basketball games and for KBTX-TV, Channel 3 in College Station, Texas.

Kandace currently reports from the sidelines and behind the scenes for many of HDNet's sporting events including football, basketball, hockey, soccer and horse racing.

In addition to working with HDNet, Kandace enjoys spending time with her friends and family, co-hosting and judging pageants, making jewelry and working to raise awareness of breast cancer (A cause very close to her heart, as her mother is a 14 year breast cancer survivor.). And, if she has a free, weekend you can probably catch her on the sidelines...not working, but cheering on her alma mater - Texas A&M University, where she received her bachelors degree in Journalism.
