Sheryl Crow performs songs from her newest album, "100 Miles From Memphis", as well as many hits of her past at the at the historic Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, California. Drawing on her music influences from growing up roughly one hundred miles from Memphis, her newest album is a mixture of rhythm and blues and soul, faithful to the "Memphis Sound". Performing along with her are many of the same musician's that performed on her most recent recording, Doyle Bramhall II, Christopher Bruce, Tommy Simms, Jeff Babko, Victor indrizzo, Ephraim Owens, Shelley Carrol, Nayana Holly and Stephanie Alexander. In addition to new material Sheryl and the band put some fresh twists into some of her hits. Included are performances of "Strong Enough", "Every Day is a Winding Road", "If It Makes You Happy", "Soak Up The Sun", "All I Wanna Do", "Redemption Day", and "I Shall Believe." The Pantages Theatre holds a special meaning for Sheryl, it was here where she first met legend, Johnny Cash, and became friends. It would be years later when Johnny was considering songs to record he heard "Redemption Day" and passed a note to his producer, Rick Rubin, that said; "I would give up all the other songs for just this one.
