HDNet has the following openings (unless otherwise noted, they are in Denver):

  • Online Marketing Specialist / Dallas - HDNet is looking for ambitious team players who have a year or two of online advertising experience with an agency or on client side. If you are a recent graduate with some experience or looking to change careers, please submit your resume. All applicants should be looking for full-time, near entry-level positions and living in the Dallas or surrounding area.

    The Marketing Specialist will assist with coordination and development of key online advertising & marketing partnerships for high-definition network programming.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Identify and track online advertising opportunities and partnerships with online outlets primarily to lift awareness and drive tune-in for HD premieres and other programming
    • Manage distribution of online video promotional content and regularly upload topical programming on video hosting sites (YouTube, etc)
    • Coordinate media plans
    • Facilitate the implementation of marketing programs including strategic online grassroots programs and promotional development
    • Prioritize and manage multiple marketing projects with competing demands
    • Track and report results on a weekly basis.

    Required Skills/Knowledge

    • 1 - 2 years of client or agency experience
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel and the Internet
    • Must have access to a computer with a high-speed Internet connection.
    • Possess an understanding and interest in media buying, Internet advertising and placement across variety of online media outlets
    • Experience tracking multimedia (videos, blogs, RSS feeds, etc)
    • Knowledge of online video production and encoding a plus
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member with personnel at all levels
    • Strong drive, energy and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, complete assignments on schedule and deliver results with limited supervision.

  • Senior IT Position / Denver - HDNet Denver is currently seeking an IT professional to join our team. Responsibilities and duties are listed below:

    • 10 plus years hands-on experience, ideally in a broadcasting environment.
    • Must take pride in doing full and complete tasks.

    • 24x7x365 on call support for several companies' "on air" processes (local and remote).
    • Occasional off shift and weekend (on site) hours required.
    • Strong customer service focus necessary, with an ability to provide service that exceeds the customer's expectations on a daily basis.
    • Must have extensive experience with system administration, data networks, networking protocols.
    • Must posess significant initiative that requires minimal direction and supervision.

    • Excellent (software, network and hardware) system design and architecture skills.

    • Must have experience (and be comfortable with) using Open Source software.
    • Must be proficient in scripting (bash, batch, perl, etc.).
    • Audio / Video / Broadcasting experience a big plus.
