  • Experienced Mobile Television Engineer / Fiber Technician - We have an opening for a television engineer with a minimum of five years experience working on busy mobile television trucks to work as an E2 with our mobile team. We are looking for a hard working professional that has a proven track record contributing to a team of talented engineers in a fast paced environment. Must have HD, satellite/uplink experience and be proficient in all facets of fiber optic technology. (cabling, connectors, switches, etc.). EOE. Good Benefits.   • IT Support / Denver - HDNet is seeking a candidate to assist our IT department with IT Support.

    Apprentice level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a "jane/jack-of-all-trades" position. If selected, you will have the opportunity to learn from senior level personnel with almost 3/4 of a century of experience covering virtually every area of technology, as-well-as best practices. We prefer candidates with high-energy, a love for computers, networking and technology who have a burning desire to constantly learn and grow professionally.

    Desired Basic Skills:

    This position will be the 1st line of response to our end users that are mostly local to the Denver metro area, but we also have users in other states as-well-as mobile units that are constantly on the move. Initially, this person will handle help desk support, running voice and data lines, and building / re-building new computer installs - with growth depending on your ability to learn. We run a predominantly Linux Server based core infrastructure with a few Windows 2000 server / SQL Server 2000 / Citrix servers. EOE. Good benefits.

  • Master Control Operator - We have an immediate opening for a Master Control Operator. This is a great opportunity for a motivated person with an eye for detail to break into High Definition Television Broadcasting. Broadcasting experience a plus, computer skills a must.

    Applicant will be trained to be an "on-air" broadcast operator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to

    • Monitoring of daily broadcasts to meet all technical specs
    • Ingesting programs for server playback
    • Adjusting daily playlists for two separate networks
    • Maintaining transmitter logs
    • Switching commercial inserts for live events
    • Transfer of and inclusion of closed captioning for programs.

    Applicant will need to grasp technical flow of programming in Master Control and be able to identify and respond immediately to any problem. Trouble shooting skills and logical thinking is an asset.

    This is a shift position working four 10 hour days. HDNet is the first national television network broadcasting all of its programming in 1080i HD, the highest-quality format of high-definition television (HDTV).

    Duties for this position include:

    • Multi-state payroll using ADP
    • Project and job costing
    • AR/AP
    • Assist with month end close including: Accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, account reviews, journal entries, maintain fixed asset details
    • Provide support to Controller
    • Reconcile multiple AMEX accounts

  • TV Monitors / Denver - High Definition Television Network looking for individuals to monitor the broadcast in our Denver office. Responsibility includes continuous monitoring, in 4-6 hour shifts, of four signals and alerting technicians of any glitches or disruptions in signal. Applicants need to be alert, attentive and have an eye for detail. Training will be provided.
