HDNET AND NBC PRESENT “NBA on NBC” IN HDTV WITH FEB. 3RD LAKERS-MAVERICKS GAME

What: HDNet and NBC will broadcast live high definition (HDTV) coverage of “NBA on NBC” when the Dallas Mavericks host the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, Feb. 3rd at 2:30 p.m. ET. HDTV viewers can watch the game broadcast on NBC’s digital television affiliates and on HDNet’s channel 199 on DIRECTV. The widescreen format and superior clarity of HDTV will give NBA fans a viewing experience that is close to being there in person. With a view of the full court, fans can follow every move of their favorite players and watch the developing plays at the same time.
Who: HDNet – Founded by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, HDNet (www.hd.net) is the world’s only all high definition national television network. NBC – NBC (www.nbc.com) is in its 12th consecutive season as the exclusive broadcast network of the NBA. HDNet and NBC are also teaming up to present NBC's high definition coverage of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
When: Sun., Feb. 3rd, 2:30 p.m. ET
Where: The game will be telecast live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and will be available on NBC’s DTV affiliates and on HDNet’s channel 199 on DIRECTV.
