This July, movie fans will get their first look at these classics in HD on HDNet Movies

Dallas, June 19, 2007 - HDNet Movies, the movie lover's destination, announces their schedule for July, including an impressive list of movies making their nationwide debut in high definition.

HDNet Movies will feature the exclusive, first-ever, high definition presentation of these and other great movies during the month of July:

"The Goodbye Girl" - premieres Sunday, July 8th at 10:30pm ET
Starring Richard Dreyfuss, Marsha Mason, Quinn Cummings and directed by Herbert Ross. Richard Dreyfuss won the Academy Award winner for Best Actor for "The Goodbye Girl" and the movie also garnered nominations for Best Picture, Best Writing, Best Actress: Marsha Mason and Best Supporting Actress: Quinn Cummings. It also won Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture - Comedy/Musical, Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Screenplay.

"The Fog of War" - premieres Saturday, July 14th at 8:00pm ET
Featuring former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara. Includes archival footage of Fidel Castro, Lyndon Johnson, and John F. Kennedy. Directed by Errol Morris. "The Fog of War" won an Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary.

"The Blues Brothers" - premieres Sunday, July 15th at 8:00pm ET
Starring John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy. Directed by John Landis.

"Like Water for Chocolate" - premieres Tuesday, July 17th at 9:15pm ET
Starring Lumi Cavazos, Regina Torne, Marco Leonardi. Directed by Alfonso Arau. Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.

"The Eiger Sanction" - premieres Sunday, July 22nd at 10:00pm ET
Starring Clint Eastwood, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee. Directed by Clint Eastwood.

"Layer Cake" - premieres Tuesday, July 24th at 10:15pm ET
