The Pittsburgh captain is coming off a two-goal performance last Saturday against Toronto, one of those being the game-winner. The 2006 Calder Trophy winner for Rookie of the Year, Alex Ovechkin has a point in all five Capitals games this season. His October 12 goal against the Rangers was the 100th of his career, an achievement Alex reached in just 167 NHL games. Ovechkin leads upstart Washington with three goals and five points. Pittsburgh swept the last season series, taking all four games. Washington will be out to even the score in this first meeting of these two teams this season.
